Nashville Website Design
Websites That Look Good. And Actually Do Something.

Your website should do more than prove your business exists. It should tell people who you are, make it easy to find what they need, give them a reason to choose you, and turn visitors into customers.
Shane Almgren Design has been building websites for businesses, organizations and individuals since 2011 — for clients across Nashville, Middle Tennessee and six continents. We combine smart design, clear content and a user experience built around what your customers actually need.
Website Design Built Around Your Business
No two businesses need the same website. A contractor needs to generate leads. A restaurant needs customers to find the menu and hours before they lose patience. A nonprofit needs to explain its mission and make donating easy. A musician needs a booking agent to get from the first song to the contact button without getting lost along the way.
We start with what your website needs to accomplish, then build around it.
Sites are designed for desktop, tablet and mobile, with intuitive navigation, clear calls to action and a visual identity that fits your business — not whatever happens to be trendy this week.

Domain connection and launch

Training so you can manage your own site
-
Two rounds of revisions
What We Build
-
Business websites — service pages, staff bios, galleries, forms, and everything a customer needs to choose you and get in touch.
-
Landing pages — single-page sites built around one campaign, one offer, or one launch.
-
eCommerce stores — product pages, carts, checkout, and inventory for businesses selling online.
-
EPKs for musicians and artists — electronic press kits with music, video, bio, photos and booking contact, built to get you taken seriously by venues, agents and press. Nashville is full of talent competing for the same slots; a real EPK is how you stop being a link to a SoundCloud page.
Website Portfolio
We've designed websites for businesses and organizations of just about every description — home services, healthcare, restaurants, nonprofits, professional services, musicians, authors and plenty of things that don't fit neatly into a category.
Here are a few of them.

Built on Wix. Built to Be Yours.
We build most of our websites on Wix — and that's intentional.
Wix gives us the design flexibility to create a professional, custom-looking website without saddling you with a site that requires a developer every time you want to change a photo, update your hours or fix a typo.
When we're finished, you own your site and you can manage it yourself. We'll show you how.
Don't want to touch it? That's fine too. We're happy to handle updates and ongoing design work whenever you need us.
For projects that require functionality better suited to another platform, we'll recommend the right solution rather than forcing the project into the wrong one.
Designed to Be Found
A great website doesn't accomplish much if nobody can find it.
Every site we build starts with the fundamentals of search optimization: logical site architecture, properly structured headings, page titles and descriptions, mobile performance, image optimization, and content organized around what your customers are actually searching for. We also structure content so that AI-powered search tools — Google's AI results, ChatGPT and the rest — can clearly understand what your business does, where you do it, and the questions your customers need answered.
No one can promise you the top spot on Google. Anyone who does deserves a raised eyebrow. What we can promise is that your website is built correctly from the beginning.

What You Won't Get
No junior designers. The person who designs your site is the person you talk to about it. Your project isn't handed down to whoever's available.
No telephone game. Design, copy, and launch happen in one place so nothing gets lost in translation between a designer, a writer and a developer.
No hostage situation. Your domain and your Wix account are registered in your name. If you ever want to work with someone else, nothing is locked up.
And one more thing most studios can't offer: if writing the words is the part you dread, our copywriting is done by a published author (three books and counting!).
How It Works
-
Discovery. We talk about your business, your customers, your goals and what your website actually needs to accomplish.
-
Structure. We map out the pages, navigation and content so visitors can find what they're looking for without going on a scavenger hunt.
-
Design & Build. We create the site, establish the visual system and build everything for desktop and mobile.
-
Review & Launch. You review the site, we make the agreed revisions, connect everything, check the details and send it out into the world.
Most small business websites take approximately 2–3 weeks, depending on the size of the site, complexity of the project and how quickly content and feedback are provided.
